The world we live in is constantly changing. Borders are fading and the information we receive is changing and increasing at an ever-increasing pace. We must, therefore, cultivate in our children the skills and abilities that will allow them to function harmoniously in a world without borders.
The search for synthesis with elements of other cultures must, however, be based on stable values in our tradition and our national identity. Our duty is to teach children to collect and evaluate information, process it and synthesize it into knowledge by utilizing modern technological tools.
Students must work in groups, discover and create through activities that lead, along with the acquisition of knowledge, to the development of critical thinking. The pursuit of comprehensive and balanced development also presupposes aesthetic cultivation, contact with art and culture, as well as the exercise of mind and body through rich sports activities. The mission of Hellenogerman Education is to provide the appropriate environment so that school graduates have the necessary resources for their lives and for a successful professional career.
The school's educational programming is uniform from Kindergarten to High School. The emphasis, depending on each level, gradually shifts from rich educational activities to substantial academic learning, with the aim that students, upon graduating from High School, will have secured the conditions for the successful continuation of their studies both in Greek higher education institutions and in the corresponding German- and English-speaking ones.
