Multilingualism

Upon completion of their studies, students of the Hellenic-German Education have an excellent command of two foreign languages, English and German. This linguistic cultivation enhances communication, intercultural understanding and their ability to move with ease in an international environment.

Students' contact with foreign languages begins in kindergarten and teaching is systematized in the first grades of elementary school. Teaching in small classes, the use of modern technologies and school publications, and the possibility of participating in afternoon remedial classes support students in achieving their personal goals and mastering foreign languages.

Travel abroad, collaborations with schools outside Greece and participation in European programs, such as e-Twinning, the preparation of research projects (CLIL), the opportunity to participate in the school's English- or German-speaking theater group, the Antilogion group in German and English, all of these enrich the students' experiences, so that foreign languages are a living part of their everyday school life.

The ability of students to obtain, during their school years, language proficiency certificates in both foreign languages, the option to participate in degree exams, such as the DSD II of the Greek Language and Literature Council and the IELTS, open paths for studying at universities abroad and ensure many choices of academic paths.
