Physical Education

In Ellinogermaniki Agogi, Physical Education is an integral part of the educational process. It is not just a subject. It is a pedagogical attitude to life that cultivates self-discipline, cooperation and the joy of movement. The balanced development of mind and body is a fundamental principle of the school and a key axis of our pedagogical philosophy. Through sports, movement and play, students learn to cooperate, to persevere, and to enjoy participation. The school has modern sports facilities with an indoor gym, swimming pool and track, which allow for systematic and safe exercise for all ages.

In Kindergarten

In Kindergarten, Physical Education is linked to psychomotor education. Through creative activities, dance and play, children develop their coordination, balance and self-confidence. Already from this level, children learn to swim in the specially designed school swimming pool. Play is the main means of learning. Through movement and creative interaction, children discover their potential and experience the joy of participation.

In Elementary School

In Elementary School, the Physical Education program is enriched and becomes more systematic, adapted to the needs and age of the students. Students practice swimming, basketball, volleyball, track and field, football, gymnastics, psychomotor education and traditional dances, utilizing the school's sports facilities. At the beginning of each school year, motor maturity tests and body measurements are carried out, with the aim of creating a personal physical fitness card for each student. Based on the results, personalized programs are created that respond to the needs and pace of development of each child.

Physical Education in Elementary School teaches cooperation, responsibility and the joy of effort, without emphasis on competition but on participation and self-improvement.

In Middle School

In Middle School, students participate in a more demanding sports program, which aims to cultivate physical fitness, endurance and teamwork.

Physical Education teachers are constantly trained in new pedagogical and training methods. Internal competitions and inter-school events encourage team spirit, effort and fairness, within a framework of fair competition.

In High School

In High School, Physical Education becomes a conscious choice. Students learn to set fitness goals and understand the importance of exercise as an element of well-being. Participation in school championships and sporting events reinforces fair play and respect, values that extend beyond sports into everyday life.
