Studies at Greek universities

For many students, studying in higher education institutions in Greece is a primary and conscious choice. At Ellinogermaniki Agogi, preparation for this path is approached as a unified, carefully designed educational and academic journey that essentially begins in the 11th Grade and climaxes in the 12th Grade. The goal is for students to approach the Panhellenic Examinations equipped with knowledge, awareness of their abilities, and self-confidence.

Particular emphasis is placed on the individualized monitoring of each student’s progress. From the 11th Grade onward, students are placed in small classes formed according to their chosen academic orientation. This approach allows for differentiated instruction and gives teachers the opportunity to closely monitor the learning path and progress of every student.

The weekly timetable for specialization courses is enhanced and designed according to the demands of the Panhellenic Examinations. This enhancement is not limited to additional teaching hours; it translates into more time for deeper understanding, consolidation of knowledge, systematic revision, comprehension of complex concepts, and practice with demanding exercises and challenging topics. Instruction focuses not only on what students learn, but above all on how they will apply their knowledge under examination conditions, developing strategic thinking and effective time management. Preparation is further supported through continuous assessment and mock examinations, allowing students to become familiar with real examination conditions and gain a deeper understanding of the requirements of the exams.

The summer between the 11th and 12th Grades is used pedagogically through summer preparatory support courses in specialization subjects, functioning as a bridge that facilitates a smooth transition into the final school year and strengthens students’ readiness.

A decisive factor in this journey is the institution of the teacher-mentor. From the 11th Grade onward, every student is supported by a teacher who systematically monitors their progress, organizes study plans together with them, sets goals, and intervenes whenever necessary. At the same time, the mentor serves as a link between school and family, ensuring that parents have a clear understanding of their child’s progress and needs. This support continues through the completion of the university application form following the announcement of the Panhellenic Examination results.

Specialized career orientation tests strengthen students’ self-awareness and confidence, helping them approach decisions regarding their studies and academic path with greater maturity through a gradual understanding of their aptitudes, interests, and abilities.

Panhellenic Examinations 2025

Congratulations to our 12th Grade students for their performance in the Panhellenic Examinations! Once again, our students achieved the results we had all hoped for. The efforts of the students themselves, their families, and the school’s teachers, who supported them throughout this demanding journey, have been rewarded.

Indicatively:

  • 60% of our students who participated in the Panhellenic Examinations achieved more than 15,000 points.

  • 45% achieved more than 16,000 points.

  • 32% achieved more than 17,000 points.

  • 18% achieved more than 18,000 points.

  • 3% achieved more than 19,000 points.

We are proud of each and every one of our graduates, whether they choose to continue their studies in Greece or abroad. After all, all our graduates possess an excellent command of two foreign languages.

Our 12th Grade students also successfully participated in the KMK examination (Diploma of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education of the Federal Republic of Germany) and, by obtaining the DSD II diploma, secured the opportunity to continue their studies at German-speaking universities across Europe.

Congratulations as well to all our students who have been accepted and will continue their studies at universities in America and Europe.

The path toward Greek-speaking, German-speaking, and English-speaking higher education institutions is open to our students, and the decision regarding the continuation of their studies belongs to them.
